Research Into Music Magazine Double Page Spreads - 2.

Research Into Music Magazine Double Page Spreads - Clash.

I really like the heading of this page as it looks hand drawn and very grunge like. It is black which links with the whole section on Pete Doherty. It doesn't link in with the contents page because that is in colour and this isn't.

The picture is the same setting and clothing as the one on the contents page but it is a mid shot. I'm assuming it is the same setting and clothing as the front cover but it it is hard to tell as that picture is a close up shot.

The quote on the picture is really nice because it looks roughly printed and the scribbles make it look like they have written words wrong, it looks very creative. I also like the fact it's white and stands out against his black jacket which draws your eye to it. The writing is a serif font and it isn't very bold so it is quite easy to read.

The caption below the heading is the same font as the quote so it is linked very well with the other page, and like the quote it has some random scribbles instead of words. I like how the first sentence of the caption is highlighted over in black so the writing has to be white, it makes it look like it is more important than the rest of the caption

The first letter of the article is bigger and bolder than the rest of it like the other music magazines I have looked at. The main body of text is a san serif font and like Q the interviewers questions are in bolder writing but the same font and size as Doherty's answers.

The whole section on Pete Doherty is 7 pages long, 2 of these pages are JUST pictures so in reality my 'double page spread' would have to be more than 2 pages as it just isn't enough for a magazine, especially if it is monthly not weekly.
